Il est ensuite rapatrié\nen France pour travailler à Rueil-Malmaison à l’usine Bauchet (fabriquant de\npapier photographique). Il s’engage ensuite dans la Résistance. Après la\nguerre, Claude Despoisse s’établit à Paris comme photographe professionnel (68,\nboulevard de Port-Royal dans le Ve arrondissement) en se spécialisant dans la\nphotographie industrielle et d’entreprise. On lui doit de nombreux clichés de\nchantiers parisiens.
